Thank you for your interest in United Maine Craftsmen. UMC is the largest non-profit craft organization in the state with over 100 members and a 50 plus-year record of running successful shows.
There are 2 options available for you to participate in United Maine Craftsmen shows:
OPTION 1 – MEMBERSHIP
Membership runs from January 1 to December 31 each year. The fee is $60 for primary members. The benefits of membership are preferred acceptance in shows per the Show Selection Procedures, a listing on the UMC website, and the pride of membership in the organization.
To apply:
- Read the Policies and Jury Criteria linked below.
- Complete the Membership Application. Do not send the membership fee at this time.
- Complete the Membership Jury Application linked below.
4) Submit the Membership Application and Jury Application along with the $25 Jury Fee, 3 photos of your product and 1 of your booth set up, a scan or clear photo of your Maine Sales Tax Certificate and a photo or scan of your Maine Drivers License as proof of residency. OPTION 2 – NON-MEMBER
You may apply as a non-member to participate in 1 show if there is space available. Non-members will pay an additional $25 above the booth fee. Members will have preference over non-members. If you wish to participate in additional shows you will need to join as a member and the $25 payed will be deducted from the dues to join as a member. Should you decide to join United Maine Craftsmen as a member at a later date you will not be required to be juried again unless you have significantly changed your product.
