After 25 years of handcrafting many different items, from Barbie doll cothes to furniture, I decided I'd like to start a business and attend craft shows. Purple Grace was born in 1997 and I've been doing about 10 shows per year since then.
My products are jewelry and sewn fabric items. The jewelry is made with either Dichroic Glass, Stained Glass, or Glass beads. Some pieces are a combination of all three. After attending classes on working with Precious Metal Clay, I've added silver to some of my pieces.
In the sewing category, I sell my own creation, the 'Centerpiece Quilt' that I designed in 1975. The quilts are a quick and easy way to decorate your home for any season of the year, from Valentines Day to Christmas. I also offer basic bags and jewelry travel cases that I have designed based on what features I thought were important in these items.
