Maine Heritage Inc. and American Heritage Inc. craft high quality pens from historically important wood. Each pen includes a history card with a photo and text that explains the history of the wood used. A photo diary is kept for each history to document the process. Some of the histories include: USS Constitution, Boston Garden Parquet Floor, Boston Symphony Hall Stage Wood, Grant-Lincoln Sycamore Tree, USS Yorktown, USS North Carolina and many others.
MHI also does custom work from sentimental wood supplied by the customer. Custom engraving and histories cards for the pens are also available. We will do as few as ten pens or thousands.
Custom pens are made for business or corporations. The custom engraving may be company names or logos. Individual names can be engraved on each pen to personalize the gifts. Business may provide their own sentimental wood or choice from our histories
MHI works with museums and historical societies. Custom pens can be made from the wood provided, the pens can be used as fund raisers or thank you gifts.
